Harold R. Galef

Harold was my cousin, who always cared about my mother. and me. He was one of the most caring persons I have ever known.

I am an old friend of Bernieces and trying to get in touch with here. can yu tell me how. I have tired calling and the number has been disconnedted. We go back to Life days and I miss her.I am so sorry about your Dad. I never knew him, but if Beniece loved him, then he had to be great .My deee;st sympathies. Marjoire suydam

Our thoughts and memories of our time downstate would not be complete without Harold, his fondness for jazz, excellent wit, and instructions for the perfect espresso and charred potatoes.

Harold was one of my parents oldest and dearest friends. They shared in good times when Winnie was alive and then shared them with your father and Bernice.

Harold was a very kind and warm person who always took an interest in my family. He gave his aunt, my mother Anna Galef Riley, advice whenever she called him for his suggestions regarding a personal problem. She, in turn, truly valued his friendship as did I.

David - I will also write to Bernice - I only met you once, and read one of your books. Our parents were good friends with Harold and Winnie and Bernice; and your dad was a good friend to me. He was a terrific guy and I know you will miss him.
