Hal was like my surrogate grandfather. I´ve known him a long time. He shared Holocaust "memories " I had only learned about in school but firsthand knowledge was quite eye-opening. He was full of information and shared it with the community. Joyce Dave and Steve, my prayers are with you and I will miss him a lot. If there was a real man in this world, he was it!! Love you Hal, God is taking great care of you!

Our family met Mr. Gordon several times, he came to our daughters schools and we have read his book. What a wonderful man. Heaven truly gained an Angel. Rest in Peace Mr. Gordon. God Bless you, The Nichols Family
