Not sure what to say?

I have known Harold for many years. I remember when he worked at Fellows Gear Shaper. He used to go to the Sunday Noon meal at the Grange in Perkinsville.Harold did a lot for the town of Springfield. His making of the Grout Park along the river behind the adult senior center made a place to sit and enjoy the river, or maybe play a game of horse shoes. Parents used to take their kids there to swim. Some people still go there to enjoy a visit.

Harold was a unique and special guy with a literal "heart of gold" giving of himself his entire life. Sincere condolences to Bev and her sisters.

You were a special man Harold. You will be missed by all of us. Rest In Peace.

Saddened to learn of Harold's death. He was a very talented man in so many ways and real community citizen. How fortunate to have lived such a long and productive life. I was lucky enough to have Harold recite lots of poetry ( much of it his own) to me. As he often said to me "Trifles make perfection, but perfection is no trifle". My sincere sympathy to his family on your loss

Thinking of you sweet friend.....much love to you and your family

"Age is but a state of mind". Harold told me that many times. He was a human being we all should aspire to. I hope today he is dancing in a beautiful garden with his beautiful bride. I know you will all miss him dearly and our thoughts are with you all as you grieve.

Bev
Thinking of you and your family in your time of sorrow. Your dad did alot for community and the south school kids. I remember when we were growing up he maintained the skateing rink and sharpening our skates. He will be missed.
