Uncle Harold was such a kind soul-he would do anything for us kids. I spent many summers with him as a kid and I will always treasure those memories!! He had a smile that would melt your heart and a laugh that you couldnt help but laugh with!
I will miss you Uncle Harold-but will always cherish my memories.

Harold was such a nice and unique person. I will never forget the time in kentcky and California when we sing and played piano. I am so gald I got to see him in July 2010.

As Jackie said, Uncle Harold had the most contagious laugh, one that will be missed for sure. One of the things I will remember the most is when Uncle Harold and I went to Howard Lake...we took what we thought was the road and it was full of boulders & a goat trail. Thank goodness for having 4-wheel drive, the best thing about it was the FUN & LAUGHTER we had trying to get there. Will miss you lots sweet Uncle, until we meet again~ Love you!

I first met Harold while delivering food products to Black Butte Store. I soon learned that I had played baseball against his brother Paul's team at Clearlake High School, and we spoke often about sports and the outdoors, especially fishing at Howard Lake. In most recent years, I saw Harold quite often at the golf course. I will never forget his laugh. I haven't heard it in over 16 years, but it is so special that I will never forget it.
I also remember so well the Thanksgiving dinners at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Us kids in the bedroom watching television and the adults playing Pitch. His excessive energy ~ the man never stopped.
