When I was a graduate student in Kalamazoo, I acquired a copy of The Five Great Dialogues of Plato. Today I was rereading the Republic, and I was pleased by the margin notes. I wondered whose comments they were, so I checked for any sign of the book's previous owner. That's when I found an address label for Dr. Harris. I'm very sorry to hear of your father's passing. My condolences to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I had Dr. Harris for the study of the Russian novel. Among the classics we read was The Brothers Karamazov, a book I continue to reflect on all these years since. Thank you, Dr. Harris.
