Dear Lois and family,
We were so sorry to hear about your loss. It's been many years since we've seen Dr. Hatten, but we remember him with fondness and love. Dr. Hatten and you were among the first people that we met when we moved to Boise in 1963. He will be missed and we all send our love and prayers to you. My father just told me about Dr. Hatten's death. It reminded me of two things about him.

First, when I was around 10 years old, he and my father were talking after mass and he leaned over to show me his new watch. It was the first digital watch I had ever seen and had the black background with the red letters!

Another time, when I was in high school, I was at mass by myself and he sat near me. I was getting over a cold and had a coughing fit. The next week, I went...

Cathy told us the sad new about Dr. Hatten. We are so sad about the news. I know that dad and mom would've wanted to be there but they are back in N.C. till the end of June. We just cann't believe that this has happen to such a great man. God Bless Craig and Joanne Bergstrom Wright
