Not sure what to say?

John and Brenda, I am sorry to just be learning of this news. I can surely imagine what a great gentleman he was. He certainly achieved many marvelous accomplishments and raised a truly fine family.

My whole family has very fond memories of Rev. Hatton. He never failed to mention that my grandmother first recruited him as an interim minister at First Christian Church where he served 2 tenures and ended up spending more time in the pastorate than any minister in their 170 years. He was there for the happy times - my son’s baptism and marriage, and the sad ones - my grandmother's & father’s funerals.

We thank God for the life and ministry of Harold Hatton. What a blessing he was in the Church and community. I had the privelege of working with him in the Green Ridge ministerium and Congregations in Christian Ministry. May God continue to bless his memory and comfort you in your great loss.

Rev. Harold Hatton was one in a million. He was always the same, would approach you with that twinkle in his eye and was such an encouragement and blessing to all who knew him. He was definitely the real deal, which quite often is hard to come by. We are truly going to miss him at the singspirations and other conference functions, but our loss is heaven's gain and we are glad that he is with his God and his beloved wife. We pray God will be especially near to all of you that will miss him...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I am deeply saddened at the passing of Rev. Hatton. He was extremely influential in leading me to Christ! I thank God for putting him in my life at a very young age. As a member of the Green Ridge Primitive Methodist congregation, we were truly blessed by God to have him as our leader in faith! On behalf of my family, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family - Jim, Linda, John, Brenda, Harold, Jr. and Ruth.
