Harold Eugene Hornback, 47, died Friday, July 17, 2009. Harold was born in Union County, NC, August 31, 1961, son of Jimmie Harold and Shirley Smith Hornback. He was a 1979 graduate of Parkwood High School and an employee of IMO-Pump Industries.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at 12:00 Noon in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave.., Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Harold is survived by his parents Jimmie and Shirley Hornback of Monroe, NC; wife Joyce Danette Horne Hornback; daughter Brittany Caroline Hornback; sister Denise Berrier of Monroe, NC and grandmother Eveline Munson Smith of Monroe, NC.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the education fund for Brittany Caroline Hornback, C/O Tara Helms, Fifth Third Bank, 201 N. Charlotte Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
