Not sure what to say?

may u rest in peace poppy i love u more than any one else

my poppy was a great man he always tried to make every one laugh or smile. He was and always will be my hero i remeber when i was little and he was living at my great aunt diane and uncle sid's house and i would stay the night and i would ask poppy to read me a storie or he would tell me a few about my nana. I never really got to know her she passed about a year after i was born. and poppy would some times make the joke about how nana thought i was going to be a boy. She had made me all kinds...

I love my Nan and Poppy. A great deal of my childhood was spent at their home just a few blocks from my house. The collage I have in my minds eye of what family means is made up of scenes and still shots of my Nan and Poppys house filled with Aunts, Uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters celebrating any number of events that would bring us together.
My Pop was my example of what a man did. He never once lectured me or held school. He just DID! If one was smart, one payed attention and...

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the Jordan family home and Mr. & Mrs. Jordan. I appreciated their firmness and their laughter. I always knew where I stood when I walked through the door. It was either a good day or a not-so-good day. But laughter was always a part of the mix.
My dad, Max Caswell, was Mr. Jordan's Confirmation sponsor in the Catholic Church. My dad was proud to be his sponsor. He thought very highly of Mr. Jordan.
They were both men of a great...

It comforts me to know that the best Uncle anyone could have now rests with The Most High. He now enjoys the rewards that God has prepared for him because everything my Uncle did was done to please God. I will always remember the good times we had with the family here in Yonkers, Lake Carmel and upstate. I have truly been enriched to have such a good man as part of my life, like a second father. So now I pray for my Uncle and will console myself in all of the fond memories I have

I have been thinking about all the things that we did when we were kids when all the Jordans got together at Nan and Poppy's house kids everywhere the food was great the music was great and oh and Nan was ALWAYS DA BOSS You would asks Nan why and she would say CUS I'M DA BOSS I will miss Poppy but I know he is still here with us just in another dementionnn (yes I'm strange)
And to the Kids my heart hurts for you and sorry you had to go through this god bless you all and we love you

more than a father in law, a friend, who was always there to help, or lend a sympathetic ear. he always seemed to know what i was going to say before i said it. we had more in common than met the eye. but, i will always have his memory.

Joanne,
I am so sorry to hear of your fathers death. I will keep him and you in my prayers.
