Julie,
It certainly looks like Maynard recevied the great send off he deserved. Maynard has help all of us over the last few years and we have enjoyed some great times. I am glad he didnt have to suffer.. yet I will miss him deeply.

I grew up listening to Father Kearns and though I've moved away, I still thought of him often. A more kindhearted spiritual leader would be hard to find. He rests in peace with God now, there is no doubt. Love- SR (Boston, MA)

I admire the amount of time and effort Fr. Kearns put into his homilies. He truly put his heart into his preaching.

I was quite suprised to see my husband's cousin in the Obituary today. Our sympathy and condolences to the Kearns family. I first met Maynard when Billy's Father died and then each time as the family passed on. The last was in 2003 when Artie Kearns died. I will always remember Maynard as a soft spoken, kind and generous soul. God has welcomed him with open arms. He is now with his parents and can rest in peace. Billy, also sends his wishes as he is now in a nursing home in East Hartford...
