I first met Hank in Kaduna, Nigeria where he had come to work in the Department of Justice dealing with native (Sharia) courts. We hit it off right away. He had gotten his bachelors and law degrees from Harvard and I had spent two years at MIT and was working in the Treasurer's Dept in Kaduna. My husband, Kevin, and I worked with Hank in Attorney General Robert H. Quinn's office many decades ago. He was a very accomplished , smart, kind and sincere person, who was liked by many. He was also a very good Administrator when I worked for him after he became the NE Regional Director of the Department of Energy in Boston. We send our deepest sympathy to his family for their loss.
