Read MoreI knew Hal from church, since the mid-80's,as I recall. He was an absolute gentleman and I remain awestruck by his intellectual curiosity and the endless energy that drove it. Age seemed irrelevant to him. I am almost 25 years his junior and I will always remember his qualities as I move along in life. He was an amazing intellectual with kindness of equal magnitude.

Hal and I were special Gathering friends during our time in Orangeville. I treasure my association with him and remember him with fondness, for his intelligence, curiosity and kindness. He will always have a place in my heart. I suspect he is fixing things and reordering heaven right now. What an amazing man!
