KURTZ, Harold L. - Of Flint, age 64, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Harold was born in Flint, Michigan on November 6, 1945, the son of George and Jeanette Kurtz. He retired from GM after 36.2 years and a veteran of 10 .5 years in the Armed Forces. Surviving are one sister, Nanette; one brother, Dan; nephew, John; special friends, Sue Nadell and Sherry Legue. He will be missed by all his friends. He was preceded in death by mother Jeanette. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com

Harold, we were saddened to hear that you passed. You will be greatly missed by many. Carrie, Tiffany, Michelle, and I send our condolence to your family and friends,which are many. You are now in Gods strong hands, There is a special place in heaven for big Teddy Bears.

Harold, my friend, you will be greatly missed. Steve and I haven't bumped into you in several years now but always when we did that infectious smile and laugh of yours quickly spread. Thanks for the memories.
