Dear Harold, How quickly another year has flown by. My family and I always miss you most at this time of year when we were used to seeing and sharing summer with you in Ventnor. May your memory always be for a blessing.

Dear Joy and family, We have lost one of our own. I´m one more friend to say what a amazing person he was. I can think of many superlatives, but the finest thing a person can be known for is integrity. All his classmates and friends will sorely miss him.

We lost a wonderful friend. It is hard to find words that express our feelings. Harold Kurtz did not just bring Odyssey oft he Mind to Germany. He brought a spirit of creativity and friendship. Harold was a true mentor to me, a dear friend to our family, an inspiring Member of the Board of COU, a fun person with such a big heart, a smart teacher in the best sense of the word. We will miss him so much. But he has left traces in our hearts that no water can wash away.
