Not sure what to say?

My family and I have known the Lackey family for over 30 years. I have very many memories of our life in Rosedale that include Steve and Harold. Harold would stop by the store where I work and ask, "You got any biscuits and gravy, Sheryll?" When I would say, "Yes, would you like some?" Then he would say, "Nope, just checkin'" and smile. My prayers go out to your family during this time.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong Ida. Please let me know if you need anything.

It can honestly be said that there was never a dull moment with Harold around. He came by the office a month ago and i'm so glad i got to see "Grumpy" one more time. But even with that tough exterior, he didn't fool me! He was a wonderful man:funny and kind, a true friend. He spoke often of his family with love and pride and spoiled his grandkids rotten! I'm going to miss him so much. Rest in Peace Harold. You and your family are in my prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord, and let...

I too worked with Harold at Coast Gas. He often had a calming effect on me, especially in stressful situations.
I was lucky to have worked with him.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Who will ever forget our Harold...he was the founder of "jack of all trades" and it runs in the family too, Steve got that! I will very much miss all the teasing and taunting he always did to me. You all are in my thoughts!!!

I met Harold through his wife Ida who is a very dear friend. Harold helped me out several times with fence and plumbing repairs. He impressed me as a very handy and hard working person with a great personality. Even though I only knew him a short time I could see he was a great husband for Ida and I know he will be greatly missed.

I worked with Harold at Coast Gas years ago, and he was a pleasure to work with. We shared many jokes and laughter. I will never forget him.

Harold will be dearly missed by so many. It was a pleasure to work such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lackey Family.
