Not sure what to say?

Although I'm not a friend of the family, I just want to thank you, Harold, for introducing me to folk music. Every performer who's ever moved me was introduced to me by you. If there's a heavenly band, I'm sure your managing their gigs.

On behalf of all the Hands of Woodstock, NY, Will and Ruth's son Sam, their granddaughters Sally, Marci and Ilana, and their great grandchildren Nathan and Elizabeth we send our condolences on Harold's passing.

When I visited Harold and Natalie several years ago I hoped to forge a connection with this side of my family. I will never forget our visit, for it was one of the most exciting days of my...

My best wishes to Judy and the family. I was lucky enough to meet Harold a few times while working on a graduate school project at Columbia (where I had known Judy).

Again, my sincerest wishes to Judy.

I knew Harold from the time I worked at the Woody Guthrie Archives. He was a great storyteller, a real character and a mensch.

Best to Natalie

At the end of the get-together he decided not to proceed with the book. Probably the only wrong...

I am a close friend of Harold's niece Ellen Kucharsky. She was my best friend at age 14 and remains a close friend all these years. I knew Ellen's family very well and spent many times visiting her at her Uncle Harold and Natalie's apartment in the city. I was also privileged to be the recipient of many special concert tickets, with great seats, all due to Ellen's uncle Harold. I know he will be be greatly missed by his family, friends and all the people in the entertainment field that had...
