Hearing the sad news about Hal brought me back years and years - to the time in the 1970s when we were all first together in the Troy congregation. All of us were young, enthusiastic, and beginning to pioneer. That's still the picture I have in my mind of Hal and Paula. Now, years later, Hal has completed a faithful course - and his family have many warm, wonderful memories to comfort them until a time they can all be together again. Hal, a loving husband, father and grand-father. Always ready to help others with encouraging words and actions. He will be missed by many.
