I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mr. McDowell when he worked at Tennessee Valley Rehab. He was a wonderful man and I know you will miss him very much. You are in my prayers.

Mr. H. Gene McDowell, My Hero, My Friend
He was my Rehabilitation Counselor. I am four feet tall and he taught me how to drive. He said first you need to know where the brake and gas pedal are, and practice, and so I did for weeks. The day came when I would get a chance to drive. He put me on the parkway and told me to drive. If the car goes toward the ditch pull it back, if the car cross the line and the road pull it back. I was learning to drive and that was all I need to know....
