Harold S. Mendelson, 87. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Rubin); devoted father of Juel (Paul) Rubin, Lori (Richard) Mitchell, and the late Martin Mendelson; cherished grandfather of Ryan Rubin, Sarrie (Steven) Oscar, and Victoria Mitchell; dear brother of the late Annie Mendelson and Bernice Leach; caring uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Funeral service Tues, 10:30 AM, at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Les Turner ALS Foundation of Chicago, www.lesturnerals.org. For info: 847-256-5700.

I was so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. Harold was a dear man and a faithful client.
I always enjoyed meeting with him. Each meeting was an interesting "experience". He will be missed.

I would like to send my cousin condolences to my cousins Juel and Lori and their husbands and to my second cousins Sarrie and Ryan. Your dad and grandpa was the best uncle that I could ever have. I will miss talking to you on the phone. Thank you for everything Uncle Harold and I'm going to miss you dearly.
