I wish I would have got to know you better Uncle. If you where anything like my father Jim you must have been a really great person.

Mark and Jean,
We are so sorry to see that you lost your dad. We are never ready to lose a parent. We lost my dad two years ago, and we sure miss him. I was visiting my mom on Memorial Day weekend and happened to pick up her Tribune and saw his obituary. We are now in St. George, but try to get up as often as we can to see her. What a blessing to have our parents be part of our lives for so many years. May you all be blessed with the peace the Gospel brings and comfort in your...

THE HOSTS OF HEAVEN, THEIR SILENCE
Hush the angels for the moment Aunt Ruth,
And look with me at a faithful soldier weeping together with his comrades
Planting azaleas for you beneath the tree of life,
There in the great season of memorial days,
Uncle Harold weeping for his faithful soldier wife, soon to join him.
Hear how Heaven always pauses to weep for those left behind,
Before it erupts in celebration at another triumphant return.
Your neighborhood nephew.

We were sorry to hear of Harold's passing. We treasured his and Ruth's friendship. I am so glad I got to see both Harold and Ruth before they went to the rest home. He will be missed. We have many fond memories as neighbors and friends. He has now graduated to be with loved ones who have gone before. May the Lord bless all of you who are his kin.
