Harold Eugene Miskel

I was always happy to see Harold when he came over to our Wednesday night church pool league that Sid started at our home. Harold and John, his son-in-law were active members. Sid and Harold were good friends. He will surely be missed!

Harold will be missed by all who knew him. I know he will be by us. We will always fondly remember Harold grilling steaks for us, and watching him make Caesar salad from scratch while we all enjoyed one of his fine wines.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Harold led the extended and difficult effort in Colorado Springs Utilities to establish adjudicated exchange water rights in a priority system equal to the original priority Colorado Water Law system rights to divert or store water. The reservoir renamed for him will be a tool to improve the yield from those exchange rights, and is very appropriately named for him to honor him for that accomplishment. Well done, my friend!

"Hal" was my 1st Sergeant in the 89 Division USAR at Fort Carson. Always kind and steady he was the heart and soul of our unit. The most genuine and honest man I had the privilege of knowing.
