Not sure what to say?

Wow, I am blessed to have had this book pop up on my screen. What precious memories you have shared. Thank you. Dad, the time we spent sitting with you on the bed those last few hours was one of the sweetest times we all shared. I remember you and mom daily with the things you taught me and with great love. ❣ gayle

I have admired Burke for decades and loved serving with him in the 70 quorum. He was a man with no pretenses and genuine concern for the Lord and the Father's children. Karen and I miss him and Brookie. We were away at his passing and the services, but now pay him eternal honor.

Jana,
I just read about your father's death. I hope and pray that you are being comforted and blessed. I think about you often.

Dear Gayle, Jana, and Keri,
What a sweet influence your dad has had on my life as bishop, stake president, and Sherrie's dad!! As a family, our hearts go out to you, we will all miss him. We are grateful for all he taught and exemplified.
Much love-- Kathy (Rasmussen) Williams

Thanks to all of you for your kind words about our parents and for the individual remembrances of dad. He loved each of you.

Burke was a wonderful man. We all loved him and Brookie with all our hearts.
They were great friends. We always enjoyed being with them and having fun together!
--Donna Rasmussen

We mourn the loss of a great and wonderful man who was never hesitant to befriend the forgotten and friendless, and champion and bolster the cause of struggling members of the Church with his own sterling reputation and integrity. Like the Savior he served, “we love him because he first loved us.”
The Evergreen Board of Directors

We are very sorry about the passing of your wonderful parents. They were so lucky to go "together"! They were a great blessing in our lives. Bishop Burke Peterson took me to do baptisms at the Mesa temple when I was eight years old. I will never forget that. May the Lord bless you and comfort you as you adjust to their passing. With love from Robert & Dorothy Price Family; Bob, Ginna, Rick, Jeff & Julie

He was my bishop, and I loved him ever since. I was a girl then, and he always remained a hero to me. He and his family were a bright light to me and my family.
