Not sure what to say?

Mr. Purvis was very influential in my life both as a young man and until this very day. I was blessed to be his student in Auto Shop during my Claymont high School days (Class of 1977). I last saw him at his second wife's funeral and we both were touched by seeing each other again. As I go to work at the local Auto Repair Shop again tomorrow, there are not many days pass that I do not think of him or his teachings. This man was a legend. There was always a guaranteed laugh when you spent time with "Grandpa". May you all find peace with the loss.

God will bless Harold and lots of people will miss his gentle smile and twinkling blue eyes.

May Mr. Purvis rest in peace.

He was a well loved man at Keystone Villa. He was known for his smile, his kindness, his woodshop, and his trains. He was a good friend to my father, Asher Richards, and looked after his Villa neighbor and my husband's grandmother, Toni.

May God soothe the hearts of those still here on earth.

My deepest sympathy. You know that he will be sadly missed by many people especially here at the Villa.
Proud to have called him a friend.
