Not sure what to say?

I will always remember and be grateful to Dr. Ravitz!! I struggled with acne in my teen years. A friend told me about Dr. Ravitz. He treated me for 5 years and looking at my skin today, one would never know that I suffered from acne. He was a pioneer, so very knowledgeable, such a gentleman, the ultimate professional, and so kind! Thank you Dr. Ravitz for your outstanding care. My deepest sympathy to his family. You were so blessed to have him in your life.

Harold was my Dermatologist when I was growing up in St Paul. When I was a resident in Dermatology at the U, he was my instructor at St.Paul Ramsey Hospital. He also envited me to follow him in his St. Paul office once a week where I learned( among many things) how to treat patients with dignity, respect and kindness. At our meetings I would comment to others how distinguished he always looked.
I will always remember him as my Professor and how kind he always was to me and was the epitome...

Dr. Ravits was the "King" of Dermatology in St. Paul during my dermatology residency from 1975-78 and practices in St. Paul and Minneapolis until 1984.
His wisdom and keen perception of patients and disease states at Grand Rounds and conferences was always noted. His soft spoken manner and handling of patients and physicians alike will always be remembered. All of us learned so much from him.

Mimi, I didn't know your father but I can see from reading all this that he was a wonderful and exceptional man. I'm sure you will miss him greatly. Peace to you and all your family.

One of my very first doctors was Harold Ravitz...6 mos old. My mother worked at the "old" St. John's Hospital and knew who the BEST practioners were and Dr Ravitz was always our "go to" for dermatology. Thank you for many years of excellent care!

My sympathies on the loss of a wonderful man.

During my residency in dermatology at
the UM Medical School 1966-1969, he was
a favorite teacher who taught by example.
There was scarcely a day that I was not
aware of something Dr. Ravits taught me
either in his office in downtowm St. Paul,
or at Saint Paul - Ramsay and the VA
Medical Center.

He will be missed.

I was a very young patient of Dr. Ravits, just a little girl. I have memories of him and of that time, but mostly I remember what my mother told me, about my care and hospitalization with Dr. Ravits. My eczema was severe and only through Dr. Ravits' expert care was I completely healed. Many years later, as a young woman, I had an appointment with Dr. Ravits and when he saw me and saw the name on my chart, he smiled. I remember that visit with him and as many others have attested here to...

I worked for Dr. Ravitz in the early 60's. He was the best boss I ever had. A true gentleman and a very kind man. He had a tremendous following and was so good to each and every patient.
My condolences to all of the family. He always spoke so kindly of all of you.

Dear Cissy, Martha, Mimi, and John: I was very sorry to read the obituary; but, so impressed by Harold's accomplishments and by the man I knew. And, while I haven't seen him in decades, he left a huge impression on me for his kindness. I want you to know I am thinking of you and I have always appreciated the kindness you all showed me "back in the day." Take care. Mike Braman
