Harold T. Sargis

My Mom had seen Dr. sargis before he went to Chicago to study at I believe Cook County hosp. She had been a patient of his. When I had trouble getting pregnant (endometriosis) he operated and I had my daughter 1 yr later. Two more children followed. He was a wonderful kind man.

Dr. Sargis was friends with my Grandparents. He delivered me when I was born. When I was around 28 I had issues with Endometriosis. Another doctor wanted to "take everything out" and my grandmother suggested I go see Dr. Sargis. He operated on me and fixed everything! A year later I got pregnant with my daughter. Dr. Sargis brought me into this world as a little 4 pound 7 ounce "premie" and made sure I received the most attentive, loving care to get me stabilized in this world. Over the years he continued his heartwarming friendship with my parents and family (afterall he had delivered five siblings previous to my arrival). I will always remember his infectious smile and hearty laugh. He deeply touched so many lives, such as mine, without ever pausing to think about how remarkable an act of kindness...

Harold delivered two of my children. Condolences to the family. God Rest his Soul!

Dr. Sargis will be remembered forever in my heart. He was the man who helped my mother bring me into this world 38 years ago at Lakewood Hospital. My condolences to the Sargis family and may Dr. Sargis rest in peace.
