Harold, Lee, and Judy were wonderful neighbors and friends. I was fortunate to get to stay in the cabin several times. I can still see Harold's warm, loving smile when he was surrounded by family and friends. I still miss the smell of his beloved pipe. When the family moved away from their home on SE 60th I continued for many years to call it "Judy's House." Both of my parents, Roy & Fran have too passed away. I cherish the great memories of the Slane family.

Many good memories at the Welches cabin. Swimming in the Salmon river, throwing horseshoes and the smell food cooking on the wood cook stove. Parents playing cards while us kids tried to play together.
