Not sure what to say?

Mr. Sponseller was one of the elite legends who taught at CHHS. He was bright, witty and a joy to be on the receiving end of his talented teaching, coaching and motivating ability. We are all deeply saddened by his passing but comforted that he made the world much better by being a part of it. God bless Mr. Sponseller.
Wayne Clevenger, class of 61

Our whole family has the fondest of memories of Mr. Sponseller. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. the families of Norbert and Gloria Chase.

Two things come to mind when I remember Mr. Sponseller. The first is the insight he had on my math skills or lack there of and second his enjoyment and skill in making half court shots in baxketball. He was one of the special teachers and coaches at Cuyahoga Heights.
Bob Gawme Class of 1963

Though I did not know Mr. Sponseller very well whenever we would drive down button road he would wave. My family will miss him greatly. Our condolences are with the sponseller family during this difficult time.

Dear Muriel, Ruth, Lynn and families, I am so sorry for the loss of Jim. I really loved him--one of my favorite people to get to see at the family reunions. He was always so hilarious. I am sad that he's gone. I'm sending lots of love and prayers. My mom (Bunny) said to send her sympathy to you all.
Love,
Renie (Sponseller) Britenbucher

Mr. Sponseller was a teacher beloved by all who were acquainted with him at Cuyahoga Heights School. He was also a great coach who inspired young men. We all have fond memories of him. What more could a person do but to influence so many students in a positive manner. We share in your loss. With sympathy Patricia (Hazel ) Klir and Joseph Klir class of 1961

Mr. Sponseller was always on every student's 'favorite' teacher list. He had a brilliant mind. He had a great sense of humor. As a member of the CHHS Class of '61, it was always a pleasure to sit in his class and learn from him. He'll be truly missed by all who knew him and benefited from his teaching talent.

You have my deepest and heartfelt sympathy.

Dave, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Muriel: I'm so sorry to see that Jim passed away. I think of you often reflecting on my happy years at UCP. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
