Not sure what to say?

I worked for Lt. Stanton in the 70's. He truly defined what they mean when they call the police "Chicago's Finest". The don't make them like that anymore. One of a kind.

Dear Patrick and Mary Anne:

We learned about the passing of your dad, through your wife, Mary Anne. I work with her at Northern Trust. Please accept our sympathy and prayers for your and your entire family. Mary Anne said that you paid a beautiful tribute to your dad.....we can only imagine since Mary Anne thinks the world of you as her husband, her children, loves her in-laws and her huge extended family.
Fondly,
Don and Mary Anne Blyth

Sorry to hear of Harold's death and sorry we could not be there as we are out of town.
We have many happy memories of him and he will be truely missed.

Celeste and Family

I always looked forward to seeing Harold for many wonderful reasons, but especially because he always recalled knowing my dad , George Baer ,who died
in 1972. And Celeste, another recollection of the past as you were in my sister, Dolores's class at St. Margaret Mary's, who passed away in your eighth grade class in 1948.

May God bless Harold, you, and your wonderful family.

We first met Harry Stanton in 1961 and over the years found him to be a wonderful person and friend. He was super to work with in the Division of Investigations and just a very special person. I am so glad I was able to visit with him in the hospital shortly before his death. Our sincere condolences to Celeste and all the Stanton family!

We just found out today that Harold had passed. Harold was such a good man. We loved him, especially my daughter. Erin who has MS. He was so good to her. It was a pleasure to have known him. God bless all of you.

Harold Stanton and his family were next door neighbors of mine for 20 years. The Stanton family were always gracious and kind and I have fond memories of spending time at their home. Harold was a wonderful father and husband (and I'm sure grandfather too). He'll be greatly missed by all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stanton family at this time of sorrow. Harold was a great man.

Stanton Family, So sorry for your loss of Harold. He was truly a kind and generous man. Matt Casey CPD (retired)
