We met Hal at the monthly breakfast fundraiser for the Hilltop Gang in Brownsville in 2002. He was a Volunteer and told us to consider becoming a volunteer also. He was passionate for public service, and a good county supervisor in Yuba County. Lots of advice and mentoring to a young couple like us. Will miss you and your big heart!

Hal Stocker was an exceptional individual who donated much of his time and effort to serve and represent the people of Yuba County Fifth District. He took time to get to know his constituents and often answered his phone on the first ring. I know because I was one of the people that he represented and who received his personal attention when needed. I want to give my condolences to Leah Stocker and wish her peace and comfort.
