Not sure what to say?

Hi Sherri;
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. This is Carolyn Parker Gooden and your Mom & I worked together at the Magistrate's office in Sumter, SC and I considered she & Harry dear friends of mine. Harry was no stranger to anyone he met and when we all got together or when he visited the Magistrate's office to drop off the newest school supplies for the kids we anxiously waited to hear his jokes. We all laugh so hard that Betty had to remind Harry that we were at...

Sherri, I never met you but feel I know a lot about you as your dad loved to talk about you; it was obvious that he loved you dearly and was very proud of you. I first met Harry when I was an assistant principal in Marion, SC. At the time he was working for an office and church supply company in Sumter. He called on the school as a sales rep and we hit it off immediately. Later, when he began to work for Brame he continued to call on us and we were one of his biggest customers. Harry...

Daddy and Mr. Richardson at Covenant Place

Sherri, as you go through this time of sorrow, may you also be filled with sweet memories of your dad and take joy in knowing where he is. I pray for you and Jim as you walk this difficult path. You are loved by many. May God's Holy
Spirit fill you and sustain you!

Sherri, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember when Mr. Harry would bring school supplies to the Magistrate's Office in Sumter for the workers who had kids. We all miss Mrs Betty and Mr. Harry they were a blessing and pleasure to know.

Sherri, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. I have such wonderful memories of your father. I always loved when Harry came by to visit. It was more than a sales call. We both loved baseball, the Yankees, and our spouses. He talked so lovingly about your mom, Betty, that I felt that I knew her; and he tolerated stories about my husband, George. I have missed his visits and his many stories. He always made me laugh and was a dear friend. He will be missed greatly by...

I did not have the pleasure of ever meeting Harry but know he must have been a great man to have given us the gift of his daughter Sherri. She has been and will continue to be a legacy of which any father would be honored. May God bless Sherri and Jim with his peace and love which surpasses all understanding.

Sherry and Jim, I send you my deepest condolences. I just lost my father on Dec 23 so I know that there is nothing I can say to truly comfort you but know that I care about you and I will have you and your father in my prayers.

I remember Harry visiting us at the Magistrate's Office when Ms. Betty worked here. He was always so nice and he kept us laughing. Sherri my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May God strengthen you!
