Bob was one of my most respected friends. He was familia to me as I loved him like my own Father. The Festa Italiana was a GREAT success due to all the hard work and dedication that Bob gave. Another good one is gone. I will miss you Bob and so will the Portland Italian community.

What I knew about Bob/Papa was he was a very kind, loving and generous man. He always welcomed me in to his home and family. When I had my son Gabriel, they became friends instantly. Gabe enjoyed conversations, rides on the walker and icecream together. When it was time to tell Gabriel about Papa passing away warmed and broke my heart at the sametime.
