Words to a Dear Friend

Hal was and is, always, a dear friend to me.His wisdom and "very English" sense of humor, kept me with smile. And that famous "Hal" trademark pause before he gave his reasoning remark or rebuttal.Uniquely, Hal !I miss you my dear friend.Originally, the best friend of my Uncle Charles, became a dear friend to me.I thank you, for the kind words that you always spoke of my grandmother, Olivia, on how her beautiful big heart was always understanding and non judgemental.Yes, my grandmother,Ollie,...

He was such an interesting and kind man to the girls and i. i pray he is in heaven right now and that Chris and her family and all of his friends can find peace and comfort in Christ.

Hal with His Classmates, July 4, 2009

Chris, Hal was like a big kid. He was so much fun to be around. He was there for us when we lost Nathan, now he is with him on the streets of gold with our Lord Jesus. We love you guys and are praying with you and family and asking the Lord to continue to carry you all through this time.

Chris, Hal was so fun to be around. He was like a big kid. He loved life and others. He was so good to me when Nathan passed now they are on the streets of gold together with our Lord! We love you guys and are praying with you and ask the Lord to walk with you and comfort you and your family.

Chris, Your dad was such a wonderful, kind man,and a whole lot of fun to be around. What a pleasure it was to have met such an incredible man. I know you were very proud of him and the light of his life. May you always find comfort and strength in our Lord.

I cant believe he is gone. My heart aches so much. I cant imagine my life without my Dad. He did confess his Lord and Savior as Jesus Christ and I know he is having a wonderful time in heaven. As Pastor Davis said, "His creativity is unleashed in heaven, watch out!" I look forward to seeing him again when the right time comes. I love you Dad!!!

Chris I am so sorry! Hal was like a dad to me back in the younger days and I will miss him dearly. "God bless you and your family" sweetie!
