I was Boo's "instructor" for her film studies classes at UCR Osher for many years, and am so saddened to hear of her passing. Had I known earlier, I certainly would have attended her service. Boo was such a terrific lady. Very spirited, ever curious and always eager to learn something she hadn't know of before. Some students are quiet observers in my classes, which is certainly fine, but Boo always had comments and questions and feedback on our films and my lectures -- from classics to modern...

My heart cries for Ralph and Boo's family! She was an inspiration to me and so many others! I'll always treasure the memories of our world travel cruises, Ladies Nite Out Events, Christmas Parties, Super Bowl Parties, lunches, trips to Santa Anita, etc. She was a Renaissance Woman...independent, caring, fiesty, visionary, classy and devoted to family, friends, community God and country! Boo was a wonderful lady. My boys spent a lot of time in her and Ralph's swimming pool when they lived on Brentwood. She will be missed !

Boo was a beautiful spirit that graced UCR's Osher program for over 15 years. I am saddened by her loss. I will miss her smile and joyful spirit. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
