Not sure what to say?

I still think of you often Harriet. It took me well into adulthood - and with your insistence - to actually refer to you by your first name. You were always a second momma to me. Thank you for being a steady person in my life. Love you always.

You know all I have to say. This is more for those who might visit. I was blessed to be a part of your life with your Mom. I am blessed to be part of your memory of her and her skills.
Thank you for sharing her with me.

Lena, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You know, I've always thought your parents must have been really special and loving people, because they raised such an amazing daughter. You'll never know what a wonderful influence and mentor you've been to my own kids. You and yours are always in our thoughts--more now than ever.

Dear Lena,
Was sorry to hear about Aunt Harriet. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lena,
I was so sorry to hear of your mothers death. We lived behind your family from 1978 to 1988 on Willamette Boulevard. I remember when you were crowned a “rose festival princess”. Carl and Harriet were so proud of you. We’ve kept in touch over the years, and even named our son Carl. Lena, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Harriet. Take care,

Lena,
I was shocked to see Aunt Harriet's obituary, and I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of her and conversations about everything under the sun. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Dear Lena:

I was sorry to learn of your mother's death. Your dad and I (I was in Physics) were on the faculty of U of P for many years, and I knew your mother and Father very well. After retirement we visited often during the coffees held by the UP retired Faculty Club.

My wife , Mary Ellen, passed away June 26th of this year.

Hello Lena and Richard,

I am the musician at UPUMC. I was very fond of Harriet. I was both sad for myself and glad for her and you when she moved to Sacramento to be with your family. I am now both sad and glad to hear that she is safely through the gate and at peace and reunited with Carl. I know you will miss her so much as will all her friends at UPUMC. Lots of love to both of you and your daughters.
