Not sure what to say?

I am deeply indebted to Ms. Brown as well as her sister that preceeded her in death for the support they gave me when the three of us went to the Maryland General Assembly to seek support for the Old Wallville School Restoration Project. To have experienced the living history she possessed in life shall be something I will always cherish. May precious memories continue to sustain all who knew her.

Courage, determination and integrity best describe this lovely lady. She walked the path and led the way for change with humility and faith. I will always admire and appreciate her as an example for all persons to follow. God rest her soul. Barbara Stinnett, Commissioner Calvert County

Ms. Brown is an inspiration to all. The stories of how she has touched the lives of others is amazing. Many of our children should hear of her heroism and reflect on the many opportunities that they have today that are taken for granted.

I feel honored to have known Libby and Regina for the last 30+ years. I met them through the League of Women Voters in Calvert County in the early 70's. Their courage and their sense of public responsibility were inspiring. I will always consider them role models for me. Their accomplishments will survive into perpetuity. We have lost a part of our shared history in their deaths.

I am grateful and humbled to have met and spoken with Harriet Elizabeth Brown. I am writing to honor her as a hero. Calvert County and the State of Maryland were moved further along the path toward justice by the bravery and integrity of Miss Brown. She will be remembered by the generations she helped and taught and served, and by those who will keep her memory alive.
