i had the pleasure of working with harriet for several months in her home. she opened up the world of art to me in a way that i will always treasure.you will be deeply missed.

Our condolences and sympathies to all the family-it was a special generation of cousins.

I met Harriet in 1977 in Boston after having met her daughter Beth working in Switzerland. Beth told me to look up her mother when I got to Boston. While Beth stayed in Paris and then traveled the grape harvest, I returned to the states and looked up Harriet at her workplace, M.I.T. Saw her 'floating forks' we joked, on display at M.I.T. and we hung out now and again in her studio or local pubs.
