Members of the North Plains Historical Society wish to extend sincerest sympathies and condolences to Elmer and family. We so enjoyed seeing Elmer and Harriet at our meetings since 2009, and hearing stories of the Mays Mercantile in Glencoe and North Plains. Elmer and Harriet both told of how they met and of Elmer's service in the Navy in WWII.
