Harriet Palmer

One of the last of the old-time "ladies" left, although I spotted a few at her service...lot of memories. She always remembered me and my parents. Bernice Skinner Askins, my husband's 90 year old cousin, has a story about her, when she started teaching at Amanda Elementary and I think she had something to do with her wedding. So many do have stories. She stood up for what she believed - admirable quality. So glad to see her at Lauren's grad. party. She was the same as I always remembered her....

Dear John, Dick, and David, my sister Elizabeth and I remember your mother with fondness. She was always good to us as neighborhood kids playing with you at your house.
