Not sure what to say?

Harriet was not just a store owner but a part of her client's lives. She cared so lovingly for her family it was a joy to share family stories with her. She has been a part of my knitting life for 30 years. Thanks for the memories. My heartfelt condolences to your family. You will be missed.

Harriet was a neighbor in Northbrook. One day we met and she said Ina why don't you knit anymore. It had been years. So I went into thestore and the rest is history. My first accomplishment was a poncho for my granddaughter. It turned out as beautiful as Harriet said it would be. All the other itemss i made will always make me remember her. She will be missed.

Harriet was a dear friend. I loved knowing her and spending Saturday afternoons around her table. She was witty and fun and will be truly missed.

Harriet will certainly be missed. I have been going to her store for more years than I care to remember. Her ability to write patterns for her customers is a lost art.
She will truly be missed. My heartfelt sympathies to her family

Sincerely,
Eunice Chernoff

Harriet was a wonderful woman who encouraged and mentored my reentry into the knitting world. Going to the Magic Needle to shop or just hang out and visit with Harriet and Iris was a wonderful part of my life for many years. Those wonderful hand written yellow knitting instruction pages will be a treasured memento for me. Harriet had a true talent for teaching and was an artist. I will miss Harriet. My heart goes out to her family at this time.

Am sending my deepest sympathy to Harriet's family. First met Harriet when she opened her shop in Kenilworth, next to the beauty salon. Many fond memories from there til we last connected in her Ravinia shop. Have purchased lots of needlepoint from her. She will be missed. A fun woman!!
