Harriet Harley Taber, Galena, MO, daughter of Howard and Margery (Tappan) Harley, was born June 13, 1933 in Souix City, Iowa and departed this life on May 11, 2021 at the age of 87.
Harriet had lived in the area since 2004, moving here from Oceanside, CA. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church Galena, MO. She served her country proudly in the United States Marines.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Taber and two sisters, Roberta Hathaway and Adele Cleveland.
Survivors include: two sons, Bobby Taber and wife, Trudy of Conway, AR and Jimmie Taber and wife, Lisa of Kimberling City, MO; daughter, Margery Schoolcraft and husband Stephen of Galena, MO; four grandchildren, John Taber, Adam Osborn, Joshua Osborn and Amanda Schoolcraft; seven great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation for Harriet will be Monday, May 24, 20211:00-3:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO. Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Keeter officiating. Burial will take place Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO.
