Not sure what to say?

As my mothers online guest book is getting ready to close, I wanted to say thank you to all who took time to share their thoughts, condolences, & fond memories of her! As we approach the 1yr mark without her, as her son I hold my head up with much Pride while knowing I am the man I am today, because of her Love, Strength, and Caring Discipline that she eagerly shared with so many! She was always able to recognize and knew at just the right time which one of those to give!! I Miss You Dearly...

Harriet taught me everything I needed to know in order to get A's in all English and research classes for my BS and MEd. What an excellent teacher she was. She will be missed.

Mrs. Garrett was my role model during my thirty-two years as an English teacher. At the last class reunion she attended I had a chance to talk with her and tell her how important she had been in my career.
We were fortunate to have great teachers at THS, and Mrs. Garrett should be remembered as one of the very best.

I loved Harriett so very much. She and the entire Posey family made an astounding impact on my life. Their love, friendship and guidance helped me during a time when there were few others that knew how much I needed them. I will be forever grateful. May she rest in peace and may God watch over all of you.

Harriett will truly be missed. She was a ray of sunshine that brought joy to all around her. She was always so kind and compassionate. I am thankful for having the pleasure of knowing her. She brought such joy to my family. You all will be in my prayers. Much love to you all.

Harriet shared the happiness in her heart with everyone lucky enough to know her. Her kindness, wisdom and gentle nature enlightened her surroundings. She was so proud to watch Joe play his music, at their home BBQs, with friends. She always made time to lend a listening ear. She warmed hearts and gave people self-confidence, courage and hope. She often said, "Joe always makes everyday a wonderful day for me and I love him so." I will miss her contagious laugh and enthusiastic outlook on...

Harriet was an unusually nice woman. She loved flowers, made delicious pizza and cookies, was generous, caring, and like a ray of sunshine. Joe and Harriet have been excellent together. Whenever I have been at their house, their close relationship glowed. I will sincerely miss seeing Harriet and hearing her warm voice.

Harriet and Joe's playfulness together has been enjoyable to watch. Their perfected love for each other has been an example for others. Harriet's magnetic personality & charm will be sadly missed. In 20 years, whenever I have thought of Harriet, I had to smile because of her wonderful disposition. Regardless of being deep in the middle of one of her paintings, she would instantly walk away from her canvas to help others in need. Harriet radiated love in every aspect of life.
