Not sure what to say?

I had Mrs. Goldman in the mid 80s & doubt she´d even remember me, as I was just a flash in the pan over her years at ND. Mainly, what I remember was she was down to earth & kind, even though I was probably a royal pain! She treated all the students fairly & I remember, even some of the difficult ones softened up around her. She helped nurture my love of reading & over the years, she often popped into my mind. I´m glad to learn that she lived a long, fruitful life. Condolences to her family,...

She was one of he best teachers that I had at New Dorp High School. She made learning enjoyable. Because of her I became an avid reader. She has left a lasting impression on me. RIP Ms. Goldberg

The Mazza Family sends condolences to the Goldberg Family. You are all in our prayers

Like so many students, her kindness and caring as well as her professionalism made New Dorp High School a great and lasting experience. Like so many others I am grateful. Bob Olivari '67

Mrs. Goldberg was one of my favorite teachers, she encouraged me to apply for The UFT Scholarship in 1977 which I did and I won. The best English Teacher I ever had. RIP Mrs. Goldberg

Rest In Peace..

Had her for English at NDHS. One if my favorite teachers. A truly beautiful teacher inside and out. R.I.P.

Mrs. Goldberg was my English teacher in 1963. My father died just before the last day of the school term. I went to school that last day to finalize classes pretty much in a daze. Mrs. Goldberg went out of her way to personally give me a sympathetic acknowledgement of my father´s death. Still remember her kindness more than 60 years later.

Harriette was a wonderful human, a truly gifted teacher & just a great friend. Her smile was so big, with her quick wit I saw it often. To hear of her passing is such sad news. The world is smaller without her. She was utterly devoted to her family, may her memory be a blessing to them.
