Not sure what to say?

I very much admired Harris.. what a character and real professor!

Sorry to be so late with my message, but learned of Harris's passing only yesterday from Steve Spartan. Harris, Steve, and I co-taught a course in the PACE program at UMKC once upon a time. I recall it as one of the high points of my long academic career. I had many occasions to work with Harris, and a few opportunities to share social events. I miss knowing that he is here. Sympathy to Kathy, Abby, and Tim. Robert Blanc

So sorry to hear of the loss of Harris Mirkin. My thoughts are with his family and friends. He was truly a delightful, thoughtful, & caring man. Frances Mikulic (Evanson)

Kathy, so sorry to hear about Harris. He was one in a million: gentle, funny, humane, and brilliant. I always especially loved his voice and the perpetual twinkle in his eyes. Harris and his words and works will live on.

Dear Abby and family: Your Border Star family Montessori sends their deepest sympathies for your loss.

I remember Mr. Mirkin's smile and laugh as I grew up with his daughter Abby. I know he will be sorely missed. Love to Abby and family.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Harris Mirkin. He benefitted the lives of countless students, colleagues and others who knew him. May he rest in peace.

What a bright and shining light he was to me in undergraduate school; creative, open, and real. He inspired me to dream dreams and then act upon them. Because of Harris Mirkin's influence and inspiration, I joined Peace Corps, and started upon a path that changed my life forever, for the better. While it has been over 30 years since I left KC, his impact has always been there, a part of my life's mosaic, and even with this distance, I am feeling the loss. My deepest sympathy goes out to...
