Mr. Harrison Dunbrook (Uncle Dunny),

Well I hope you and my grandfather (Joseph McAuliffe) are having a Martini and enjoying the best view of the cottage and the lake you have ever had together. Both you and my grandfather were men of great honor, courage, valor, and you have left this world and especially this country, a much better place due to...

My deepest sympathies are with all of you at this time, as I know 'Dad' will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives everywhere he went - his humor and wit will never be forgotten, I know I won't forget! Always remember, he lives on in each of you and in your memories. Godspeed.

John and family,
Nothing can be more difficult than to lose a parent. I'm sorry I was not there on Friday to share your grief. I know, though, how difficult it must be for you and your family at this time, from my own experiences of late. But I leave you with these thoughts. Focus on the memories and not on the loss. Your dad is in a better place now, out of pain, out of suffering and into a glorious and peaceful resting place. Our prayers are with you as you move through this most...

There are not the right words to express my feelings. You were such a big part of our lives. Dad always called you his other brother, and our uncle. Whenever we were together, our families were one big family, and it is still that way. We had so much fun. The cottages, in which now 4 generations have shared, are all part of our fondest memories. Games of cards, horseshoes and bocci ball, stories of the past, swimming, fishing and rides in the boats were pieces of heaven. The peacefulness of...

My sincere condolences to your family. Although their friendship was forged during their stay at Albany Med, he never forgot my husband who passed away June 15, 2006. Dunny was a caring friend to him. He will be missed.

John & Family,
I will miss the talks I had with your dad At Town & Country Lanes... He was a GREAT man & VERY much a PLEASURE to have known.. He will be Greatly missed by ALL !! John we are here for you if you need anything !! You Will always be in our thoughts & Prayers ... Jackie Jack

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Dunbrook's passing. I did some work at the cottage and got to know him quite well and spent many hours talking with him as he recalled his life experiences. He visited our motel in Henderson when I changed professions and he was one of the customers I counted as a friend. I missed talking with him as I visited the camp. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed!
