Dear Halterman Family,
I extend my deepest sympathy for all of you. I went to school with Hutch and graduated in 1971. I remember having his name when we cheered by announcing "Hutch Halterman, he's our man, if he can't do it, NOBODY can". He was a great athelte and wonderful human being. God be with you, and know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hutch and I and a lot of other teenagers had so much fun with our church youth group (CGYA) in the late 60's and early 70's. He will always be remembered as a sweet, nice, kind person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Hutch was the Quarterback for the Nothside Cougars sandlot football team in the 70's and lead us to many victories over teams from Harrisburg, Carlisle, Perry, Cumberland, & Dauphin Counties. He was also a valuable member of the Washies Softball Team in the 70's and helped us win a lot of big victories. Hutch was a real athlete who always played hard and was a really good friend who always had your back. Rest in peace brother and may God comfort your family.

Julie, Ang, Cory, Chad, Gloria, Rex, Steve and the entire family -
You know how much I love you all. I am still in shock as I write this. Hutch was such a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and grand-father. He will be missed by so many. I know this is a very difficult time. Cling to your cherished memories and hold them tight to help you through the next days, weeks and months. You are all in my thoughts and prayers daily.
