Harrison T. Platt

Harrison was absolutely delightful! I am honored to have known him if even for a short while. His sense of humor, fun, and kindness was uniquely his and he is fondly remembered. What a wonderful guy! He inspired others and welcomed new friends. And may I add, Helen is no slouch in any department and I hope she is doing well.

I met Harrison and his lovely wife, Helen, at Silver Sneakers exercise class. I was totally inspired by his tenacity to come to class each day and participate to his fullest ability. His quick wit always kept us on our toes. At a youngster of a mere 69, I always used Harrison as an example of not giving up. If I woke up and thought I wouldn't go to Silver Sneakers, I would know that Harrison would be there and I used that as motivation to make sure I got to class and did my best. What a...
