Not sure what to say?

Susan & I met Harry and his wife Betty in 1975. We were asking him do a painting for me as Susan was going to give it to me for my 35th birthday. We visited them many times at their home and at Waterfowl shows over the years.

We took them to my duck club in the Butte Sink so he could see the ducks in action. We could see that he was very good in 1975 but he even got better and better. Both he and Betty were avid bird watchers. They traveled the world to watch many bird species. He...

Harry & Betty will be missed by all, What a great time I had with them a few years back, going to the duck clubs and the CWA Dinner. God Bless.

My husband and I have been fans of Harry's for years. I spoke with Harry and Betty on numerous occasions when making purchases of his work. My greatest regret is that we never got to meet them both in person. They will be sorely missed. There is not another talent such as his in the world of wildlife art. I am so thankful that we own 11 of his painting.

I was introduced to Harry 30 years ago when I was beginning my career in birds. This was a man of great wisdom, kindness, and a deep love of birds. I am truly fortunate to have crossed paths with him.

I would stare in amazement at one of his paintings in progress and watch him paint. But the best...

Susan and I were honored to be friends of Harry and Betty for many years. Just before our current trip we were able to spend time with Harry 3 days before his death, and talk about the new migrants coming to our yards. Harry was very special in our lives.

I think of Harry and Betty every day as I enjoy the paintings all over my house. Suison Marsh will not be the same anymore. Irwin and I enjoyed their friendship. We are blessed to have known them and fondly remember the dedication of the wetland site in their memory. Judith Garvey and Irwin Nowick

The world has lost a truly remarkable artist and an even more remarkable man. Harry, you will be missed by all those you have touched.

David & Melisa Scott's wedding 2010

Harry will be missed by all, I'm glad that Harry has joined one again with Betty. He had 95 wonderful years of life. The raccoons, skunks, possums & birds will miss his dog food & birdcake.
