We were Mayor Applegate's neighbors and we are so sad to learn about his passing. With the winter months, we are not out & about so much, and we have learned about this after the fact. He was a great neighbor and he will be missed.

I have wonderful memories of Mr. Applegate. I enjoyed waiting on him at Mowery Oil Co when came in to fill up his little silver pickup. He always had something good to say that made the day seem a little brighter. It was always a pleasure to talk with him. Mr. Applegate was one of the nicest men I knew.
