Not sure what to say?

Harry was my wonderful Sweet, precious Dad...and no one could ever know how dear he was to me and my daughter. He loved with his whole heart and gave with his entire being...he would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought for one minute it would help you. He came into my life when I was 16 and I was forever changed by his sweet presence. He was my hero and I will always love him and will miss him everyday that I am on this earth. I consider each day that I was blessed with him...

I am honored to have been able to call Harry my uncle. He was one of the most mild mannered, considerate men I have ever met. He was wed to my darling aunt Fay for 24 years. Thiers was a true love story. A patriot, a hero, a wonderful husband, father and uncle but most of all, a Godly man. We are left with a hole in our hearts because of his departure but we shall meet again on Heaven's bright shore.

Harry Bachus 1943 Army Air Corps

I only met Mr. Bachus twice during the same week in Houston 2 years ago at a trade show with his Son, Larry one of our Contributing Writers (and a good friend) on the Publication I work for. His Father was a wonderful man, a proud American and from what I've seen an all around nice guy. A true Father figure. Another great from the WWII Generation is our loss and Heaven's gain. Thank you, Mr. Bachus for serving our Country. Without you and your generation America as we know it would cease to...

He was a sweet soul. I'm glad I was able to spend time with him when I was young. He was a fun grandfather, and would rock me in his Lazyboy rocker as long as I wanted him to.

Harry could not have been a more caring, loving and wonderful Grandfather to my daughters when were young, if they had been his own. I will always be grateful that they were fortunate enough to have this gift.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Faye and all of the family.

To the Bachus family, Although I didn't know Mr. Bachus, I found the story about his life in the Birmingham News to be quite interesting. The people of the U.S. have been blessed to have such a courageous individual to serve our country. I know that Harry has a special place in Heaven. May God comfort you during your time of sorrow. Sincerely, Nancy Armstrong (Trussville, AL)

It was an honor for our family to call Mr Harry friend. We will miss him so much...Ms Faye and family we will be thinking about you!

My prayers are with Harry's friends and family. Harry was a wonderful, kind, caring and smart man! He will be missed terribly. It was a great honor and privilige to know him and I enjoyed working with him at Hackbarth. Harry will be missed greatly.
