Not sure what to say?

To the family of Harry Bascom

My deepest sympathy. Mr. Bascom was a gentleman in every best sense of the word. He was kind, soft-spoken, self-effacing, generous and strong without being overbearing. He touched many, many young lives over his years of service at Proctor High School. We all are better people because of it.
His was a life of service, well lived. You can be proud.

Dear Carol, Leslie, Anne, and Harry,

I was pleased to be able to attend the memorial service for your dad today and am sorry that I was not there to hear your tributes to him. I am sure they were touching, heartfelt, and probably funny, too. What I remember about Mr. Bascom is that he was smart, funny and fair and that he loved his wife and children dearly. His wit and wisdom will surely be missed. He and your mom are now together as they were in life. I hope you will take...

Harry Bascom long live your stories...noone could tell a tale like you....

Carol,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Please share my condolences with Ann, Leslie and Harry. You are not alone in your sorrow. I love you. I'm here if you need me.

Mr. Bascom,my biology teacher at Proctor in the 50's was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. My condolences to his family and friends.

I taught Biology at Proctor High in the room next to Harry Bascom from 1959 to 1964. He was a fine teacher, always a gentleman, and very helpful to a brand-new teacher. My sympathies to his family.

Harry will be missed on the lake. I recall he being the first to enter the water in the early spring. He and Marie were such good person. Fond memories are what they've left all of us with.

To the family of Mr. Harry Bascom: My wife was blessed to have him as a biology teacher and will always remember Mr. Bascom as the best. Harry was my principal when I was department chair and teacher.During my career in three states I supervised well over 100 principals.I called Harry several years ago and stated what everyone knew.He was by far the best. Our deepest condolences. Mr. Harry Bascom was my chemistry teacher and a real gentleman. His brother, Robert, was my high school counselor at Proctor back in the 50's.
